TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) stated that his son-in-law, Bobby Nasution, had the potential to enter politics as he has started honing his political skills.

"What I feel is that politics has started to enter Nasution, little by little," he stated at the President Jokowi Family Relaxing Talk with Media at the Grand Garden Restaurant, Bogor Botanical Gardens Complex, on Saturday.

Jokowi remarked that his other children, when compared to Nasution, did not have that potential at all.

According to the former Jakarta governor, Nasution was more interestd in talking about political issues.

"He is more interested in talking about politics. Others do not have that," he revealed.

He noted that his eldest son, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, also seemed to be interested in politics.

However, his youngest son, Kaesang Pangarep, was more interested in following the footsteps of his brother by pioneering the business.

"Being the father of my children, I can say that Raka does not yet have that political feeling yet. Pangarep is 100 percent happy in the business world, the president said with a smile.

Unfortunately, Nasution also did not seem to want to jump in to become a politician but rather wanted to be an entrepreneur.

"The business world is still first. They are more focused on the business world," Jokowi explained.
