“Two days ago we received the foreign citizens from the detention center, whom will be deported as of today,” said Andi Pallawarukka, Head of Klas I Makassar immigration office today.
Ivo admits that he often broke into ATMs across Indonesia through the skimming scheme, mainly in the Java Island, Bali, and Makassar. Andi revealed that both men committed to criminal activities under the order of a Russian mafia identified as Sergey.
“They were tasked here because of Indonesia’s lack of security system,” Andi continued. The two suspects were arrested while attempting to break into a BRI ATM at the Sungai Saddang Street on June 5.
