Anies Sends Letter,PKS Invite Gerindra to Discuss Deputy Governor

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - After Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan sent an official letter about Jakarta Deputy Governor, the Jakarta Representative Council (DPW) of Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) invited Gerindra to meet.
“We will hold a meeting on December 4 at the PKS office, we will invite Gerindra,” said Chairman of the PKS Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) Faction Abdurrahman Suhaimi, when contacted, Wednesday, November 28.
Suhaimi said the meeting was intended to follow up on the agreement on the fit and proper test for Jakarta Deputy Governor candidates. According to him, PKS has sent an official letter to Gerindra last night.
Suhaimi said that PKS has sent the two names of the candidate. They are the former Deputy Mayor of Bekasi Ahmad Syaikhu and General Secretary of the DPW PKS Jakarta Agung Yulianto.
The Jakarta Deputy Governor’s position is still vacant until now, after the former Jakarta deputy governor Sandiaga Uno resigned to run for the 2019 Presidential Election as a companion to Prabowo Subianto.
