TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Regional-owned developer PD Sarana Jaya planned to set up rolling doors in every vendor in Tanah Abang Skybridge, Central Jakarta. The corporate president director Yoory C. Pinontoan expected the rolling doors were installed in some of 446 vendors by the completion of skybridge construction.

The multipurpose bridge project was targeted to finish this week. “The rest [rolling doors] will be set along the construction project,” said Yoory in a phone call on Tuesday, November 6. According to Yoory, traders could later leave their goods in their vendors after rolling door installed.

The installment of the iron door was an additional facility provided by Sarana Jaya by which traders should not have to bring their products every day.

Sarana Jaya would construct 446 vendors in the skybridge with the size of 1.5 x 2 meters each. Yoory said the size was larger than those street vendors io Jl. Jatibaru Raya. The construction project had now reached 92 percent completion, and that was expected to finish this week.

Earlier, Sarana Jaya failed to complete the project within the set time on October 15 and October 31. According to Yoory, the developer had to deal with several technical issues. “The main construction is completed, leaving the accessories matter,” he added.
