TEMPO.CO, Bandung - West Java international airport (BIJB) CEO, Virda Dimas Ekaputra, said the Trans Nusa was the second domestic airline to open flight services at Kertajati Airport, Majalengka.
“Since early November. The tickets have been sold on several online (ticket sale) sites,” he said, Friday, October 19.
Virda said Trans Nusa would operate the ATR72 propeller aircraft with a capacity of 70 passengers. The aircraft will serve to two routes; Raden Inten II airport in Bandar Lampung and Achmad Yani airport in Semarang. “There are only two [flights] a week,” he said.

According to Virda, Trans Nusa usually serves pioneer flights. “Most [flights] operate in Kalimantan,” he said.
Trans Nusa will start its flight from Kertajati airport, Majalengka, starting on November 4. The Kertajati-Raden Inten II route operates twice a week, every Sunday and Monday.
The flight schedule from Bandar Lampung is at 6:30 a.m. with one-hour flight time. From Kertajati, the flight is scheduled at 7:50 a.m. The flight schedule from Semarang to Kertajati is at 9:10 a.m. And the flight from Kertajati to Semarang will depart at 5:25 p.m.
Currently, only Citilink that has been operating at Kertajati Airport by serving the flights to Surabaya since June. The Lion Air has followed by opening its first international flight from Kertajati Airport to serve Umrah flights since October 13.
