Jokowi`s Camp Sends Birthday Wishes for Prabowo Subianto

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Deputy Chairman of the Jokowi-Ma`ruf campaign team, Abdul Kadir Karding, congratulated Jokowi`s presidential election opponent Prabowo Subianto today who commemorates his 67th birthday.
“We wish Prabowo to be blessed with great health, longevity, and mature decision-making ability.[We] wish him to be a statesman,” said Karding in Jakarta Wednesday, Oct. 17.
Prabowo Subianto decided not to celebrate his birthday in respect of the victims of natural disasters that devastated Central Sulawesi and Lombok, said Gerindra Party Deputy Chairman Sugiono in a written statement released yesterday.
“For those who intend to send me flowers and wishes are advised to not send them to me,” as stated by Prabowo in the written announcement, which also advised people to send humanitarian aid for the regions that are affected by the series of natural disasters.
