Traffic Engineering during Asian Para Games 2018 Closing

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta transportation agency will implement the traffic engineering during the closing ceremony of Asian Para Games 2018 today, Oct. 13, around the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) stadium area, Central Jakarta.
"We'll implement a one-way road policy which will be done situationally starting at 11 a.m.," said the Jakarta tranportation agency official Sigit Wijatmoko in a press release.
The traffic engineering will be applied on:
1. Senayan and Ladogi Fly Over
- Vehicles from Semanggi will be diverted to go straight to Slipi, and vice versa.
- The traffic en routing to Jalan Gerbang Pemuda will be closed.
2. Senayan's FX Sudirman or Jalan Pintu 1 gates
- The Senayan's gates of FX Sudirman or Jalan Pintu 1 will be closed.
- Vehicles from the Senayan Roundabout (Bunderan Senayan) will be diverted to go straight to Semanggi.
- The FX Sudirman mall entrance from Jalan Jenderal Sudirman side will still be opened, and the exit gate passing through the Jalan Pintu 1 will be closed.
3. Jalan Hang Lekir
- The traffic flow from Jalan Mustopo heading to Jalan Asia Afrika will be turned right to Jalan Hang Tuah Raya.
4. Patal Senayan Intersection
Traffic flow from Jalan Patal Senayan 1 heading to Jalan Asia Afrika will be diverted to make a U-turn or turn left to Jalan Senayan 2 or Permata Hijau.
5. Palmerah Traffic Light
- Vehicles from Manggala Wanabakti building will be ordered to go straight to Palmerah traffic light heading to Jalan Tentara Pelajar and Permata Hijau.
6. T-Junction of Jalan Tentara Pelajar
- Vehicles from Palmerah traffic light will be diverted to go straight to Jalan Tentara Pelajar.
7. T-junction of Jalan Hang Lekir
- Vehicles from Jalan Pakubuwono will be diverted to go straight to the Pakubuwono traffic light, and vice versa.
Sigit called on the road users to be aware of the traffic engineering implementation and can adjust to it so the Asian Para Games 2018 closing ceremony can run smoothly.
