TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Head of the Jakarta Education Official, Bowo Irianto, confirmed that there would be no school holidays during the 2018 Asian Para Games on October 6-13.
“Because the effective days of school is over, if the school holidays is implemented again, the effective days will be reduced,” Bowo said at City Hall, Central Jakarta, Thursday, October 4.
According to Bowo, the sports competed at the 2018 Asian Para Games would not as much as the 2018 Asian Games, so it would not cause traffic congestion.
“Around the Athlete Guesthouse, the school (teaching and learning activity) will take place as usual,” Bowo said.
The 2018 Asian Para Games is the biggest event for athletes with disabilities in Asia that will be attended by 43 countries with 18 sports contested.
