TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Large groups of people formed a queue in front of the Asian Games ticket box in Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) even though the event`s committee is no longer selling badminton games tickets offline.
“The badminton ticket sales are only available online,” said a ticket box employee at GBK’s entrance door 4 via a loudspeaker. The hundreds of people that have queued there were understandably disappointed by the news.

However, the least that the committee members could do is by setting a large screen in the GBK’s East Parking spot that will broadcast the badminton match in real time.
“Fans without a ticket can go to the Parkir Timur (east parking lot) where we have set-up a large screen at the event’s festival area,” said the ticketing employee.
The Asian Games committee has no longer sold offline tickets for five sporting events, namely badminton, aquatics, volleyball, 5 on 5 basketball, and 3 on 3 basketball. For those who plan to watch a match live will only able to do so by purchasing a ticket online.
