TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Organizing Committee of the 2018 Asian Games (INASGOC) has decided to lower the price of festival category tickets to IDR 10,000, which was originally priced at IDR 30,000 and IDR 25,000.
"In order to make it easier for people who want to enter Gelora Bung Karno (GBK)," said INASGOC Ticketing Director Sarman Simanjorang at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium on Thursday, August 23, 2018.
Sarman said the IDR 10,000 ticket price will be applied until the 2018 Asian Games event ends. The decision was made following the INASGOC evaluation of the event.
Sarman said that inside the GBK complex, visitors can enjoy matches through the big screen, music stage, or other entertainment provided by the sponsors. Festival ticket holders can also go around enjoying match venues or doing selfies.
Sarman also said that the committee will mobilize peddling ticket sellers using loudspeakers. "Around 5000 tickets have been sold until this afternoon," Sarman said on Thursday, August 23, 2018.
