TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The vice presidential candidate Sandiaga Uno said Indonesia’s economy is currently weakening, by seeing from the rupiah exchange rate that had continued to decline.
“We will build the economic policy that can provide as many jobs as possible,” he said at the Muhammadiyah Office on Monday, August 13.
Sandiaga will apply the OKE OCE (One District, One Center of Entrepreneurship) that he previously implemented in Jakarta Administration.
“OKE OCE Goes National, we will compare it with strong human resources from the Central Board of Muhammadiyah,” said Sandiaga. He explained that there were already 200,000 OKE OCE entrepreneurs.

The Chairperson of the Muhammadiyah Da'wah Council, Haedar Nashir, said there were six points discussed as a reference for the material of government policy in the next five years.
Haedar said that religion, Pancasila, and culture were the foundation of values and sources to formulate policies. “Don’t let the government policies contradict basic values,” he said.
The second point, Haedar said that Prabowo Subianto and Sandiaga were asked to uphold the state sovereignty through policies that were pro-people.
On the third point, he asked Prabowo-Sandiaga to progressively address the socio-economic gap. “Especially in dealing with small groups that control the economy,” Haedar said. In addition, they also discussed bureaucratic reform.
