Setya Novanto Case: KPK Boosts Security at RSCM

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Security in Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital (RSCM) Kencana is tightened up to closely monitor the House of Representatives Speaker Setya Novanto. Security officers guard every door of the hospital.

Setya Novanto’s lawyer Friedrich Yunadi confirmed the security measures in RSCM Kencana. This is to comply with the instruction from Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

"It’s under KPK order. We are actually open for public, but if KPK requested so, then we follow their order," Friedrich said after visiting his client on Saturday (18/11).

Today, he continued, Setya Novanto’s nephew paid a visit. He admitted that a permit to visit his client from KPK is not needed. In addition to his nephew, Friedrich added, Setya Novanto is accompanied by his assistant.
