TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia’s mixed doubles pairing of Tontowi and Liliyana has won Indonesia Open 2017. The pair beats its Chinese counterparts Zheng Siwei and Chen Qingchen in the final held in Jakarta yesterday.
Tontowi and Liliyana, 2016 Olympics winner who was the sixth seed, won by 22-20, 21-15 within 45 minutes.

It was the only title won by the host in this edition’s super series. Other Indonesian shuttlers had already been defeated in the previous rounds, including two doubles pairing who lost in semifinals.

- Men’s single: Kidambi Srikanthi (India), beating Kazumasa Sakai (Japan); 21-11, 21-19.
- Women’s single: Sayako Sato (Japan), beating Sung Ji Hyun (South Korea): 21-13, 17-21, 21-14.
- Men’s doubles: Li Junhui/Liu Yuchen (China), beating Mathias Boe/Carsten Mogensen (Denmark): 21-19, 19-21, 21-18.
- Women’s doubles: Chen Qingchen/Jia Yifan (China), beating Chang Ye Na/Lee So Hee (Korea): 21-19, 15-21, 21-10.
