TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - After monitoring the average price of global oil, the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry ensured that between 1 April until 30 June this year, the government will increase the price of fuel.
The ministry also said the government decided not to raise the price in order to main economic and social stability, price and logistic management stability, as well as to ensure the supply of fuel nationwide.
Therefore, prices of certain types of fuel and special fuel are as follows: subsidized kerosene is priced at Rp2,500 per liter; subsidized solar is priced at Rp5,150 per liter, and RON 88 premium gasoline is priced at Rp6,450 per liter.
In the meantime, to maintain public accountability, the government and the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) will monitor the price, including in the distribution of the fuel.
