TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Dumai resort police have confiscated meth weighing 3.3 kilogram worth Rp3.6 million during a raid in a house owned by Samsul Bahri, who is an alleged drug dealer.
However, the police failed to arrest Samsul because he was not in his house at that time.
"Based on the result of the investigation, Samsul is now in Malaysia,” said Chief of Dumai Resort Police Adj. Comr. Sr. Donald Happy Ginting, Saturday, 25 February 2017.
Donald added the raid was done at around 9 am on Saturday based on information from the locals, who were worried with the frequent drug transactions taking place in the house.
Upon receiving the report, the report investigated the case by coming to the house.
As of now, the police are still investigating the involvement of other parties. It was alleged that the drugs were smuggled from Malaysia.
