TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) saw foreign investors recording a net buy on Tuesday's trade, October 25, 2016. This is the fourth consecutive trading day that the bourse recorded foreign net buys since October 20.
Based on the IDX's data, foreign investors' transaction activities today ended with a net buy of Rp118.94 billion.
Throughout the day, foreign investors sold 2.87 billion units of shares worth some Rp3.04 trillion. They also purchased 2,39 billion units of shares for Rp3.16 trillion.
Today's transaction values totaled at Rp7.33 trillion for the 12.5 billion shares traded.
Meanwhile, the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) closed with a 0.43-percent correction or down by 23.18 bps to 5,397.82.
The index opened with a thin gain of 0.09 percent (5.11 bps) at 5,426.11 and spent the day swaying between 5,397.82 and 5,436.20.
The exchange floor today saw 538 stocks traded, with 161 posting price gains, 166 stocks suffering declines, and 241 unchanged.
