TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Former Chairman of Indonesian Film Artist Association Gatot Brajamusti through his lawyer Ahmad Rifai said that he would reveal a list of human trafficking mafia network and illegal drug suppliers in his circle. Rifai said that the illegal drug supplier and trafficker implicating his client is on a huge scale.
In order to protect his client, he said that he would send a letter to President Joko Widodo contained a list of networks in regards to the two illegal activities surrounding Gatot, on Tuesday, October 11, 2016. “I think the scale is enormous, that is why I ask the President to form a 'Team 9' later on,” Rifai said on Sunday, October 9, 2016.
He said this case is as huge as the criminalization of ex-officials of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Bibit Samad Rianto and Chandra Hamzah, who used to be his client.
He added that he would also send a letter to the National Police Chief Tito Karnavian. His client, Rifai said, would also reveal the huge drug dealer that provides drugs for him to the chief of National Narcotics Agency Budi Waseso.
According to Rifai, a state official has a control in the human trafficking networks. There are also celebrities involved. Rifai said that he has persuaded Gatot to reveal the names of the state officials and celebrities involved.
He also said that there are a large number of victims in the human trafficking activity conducted by Gatot. However, Rifai assertively said that Gatot Brajamusti is not a ‘big boss’ in this drug case. Therefore, he asks for Jokowi`s assistance for the search of other victims. According to Rifai, Gatot did not rape the victims. He said the victims came into the business of human trafficking.
When asked about the identity of the individuals that will be revealed to President Jokowi, Rifai refused to reveal it. He said that Gatot himself would reveal it along with other cases that he is involved in.
