TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Starting 2017, recipients of rice for the poor program in Yogyakarta will receive the aids in the form of non-cash aids.
"Yogyakarta is one of 44 cities in Indonesia that will begin the program of non-cash aids. It means that rice for the poor program will be implemented in the form of non-cash aids through the Prosperous Family Card (KKS)," said Head of Yogyakarta Transmigration, Work Force, and Social Affairs Agency Hadi Muchtar in Yogyakarta on Sunday.
According to Hadi, every household that receives the rice will get aids in the form of cash that is distributed through the Prosperous Family Card program every month.
Hadi added that every household will receive Rp110,00 per month and the money can be used to buy goods sold at e-warung managed by the joint business group program in every region.
