TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta governor candidate Anies Baswedan revealed his strategy in the campaign of the 2017 Jakarta governor election.
Anies said one of the ways is to strengthen the network through silahturahmi.
"We are building a network. We are having silaturahmi with both internal and external parties and the general public," he said in Jakarta, Saturday (1/10).
By expanding the network, Anies said he wants to show a peaceful campaign that he is doing with his running mate, Uno Uno.
He also wants to formulate measures to campaign supporters.
"With good intentions, and with good coordination, we can win the election. Insha Allah," he said.
According Anies, in a campaign, the most important is to live up to what was expected.
"If we want to embrace all, our campaign must embrace all. If we want to respect the performance, then the campaign should respect the performance," he said.
Anies-Uno is a pair of candidates for Jakarta governor and vice governor supported by the Prosperous Social Justice Party (PKS) and the Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra).
In the election, Anies-Uno will compete with Ahok-Djarot and Agus-Sylviana.
