TEMPO.CO, Bandung-Around 5,000-6,000 vehicles have entered Bandung through Pasteur toll gate during long holiday of the commemoration of Jesus` ascension into heaven today, May 5, and Isra and Mi'raj (the Prophet Muhammad`s journey from Mecca to Jerusalem and his ascent into heaven) tomorrow, May 6, 2016.
“From Wednesday evening at 9:30 p.m. to the next morning at 5:30 a.m., the number of vehicles that entered Bandung through Paster toll gate reached 5,942 vehicles,” Susilo, Head of Bandung Pasteur Toll Gate, told reporters today, May 5, 2016.
According to him, the number has risen compared to the day before. “We estimate that it has increased by over 1 thousand.”
He said that the number of incoming vehicles is equal to the number of outgoing vehicles through Pasteur toll gate of 5,000 to 6,000 vehicles.
Based on the data from Jasa Marga, Pasteur toll gate saw 6,722 outgoing vehicles last night.
Sedans has been dominating the incoming vehicles passing through Pasteur toll gate, and the rest are minibuses, small trucks, and buses.
“Most of the incoming vehicles are bearing B license plates [vehicles from Jakarta] and groups of tourist buses,” he said.
