Mirna`s Father to Report Jessica`s Lawyer to Police

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-Edhi Darmawan Salihin, Wayan Mirna Salihin’s father would report Yudi Wibowo on the charge of libel. “We’ll see,” he said when being met at Jakarta Metro Police, February 9, 2016.

Yudi is the lawyer of Jessica Kumala Wongso – who has been named as suspect in the murder of Mirna Salihin in Olivier Cafe, Grand Indonesia Mall, on January 6, 2016.

Edhi did not explain specifically on the report of libel charge. He also has yet mentioned when will he report Yudi to the police.

On Tuesday, February 9, 2016, Edhi has once again came to Jakarta Metro Police’s General Criminal Investigation Directorate. He admitted that he was only making a visit and there were no interogation agenda. “I only make a visit,” he said.

Jessica has been named as suspect since January 29, 2016, immediately after the police held the second preliminary hearing. Jessica was arrested the next day in a hotel in North Jakarta.

Wayan Mirna Salihin, 27-year-old, died after drinking Vietnamese coffee at Olivier Cafe, Grand Indonesia Mall, January 6, 2016. Mirna was meeting with her two friends, Jessica and Hani.

The autopsy by Indonesian Police’s Forensics Laboratory found cyanide in Mirna’s stomach fluid sample. Similar substance has also been found in the coffee he drank.
