TEMPO.CO, Cupertino - Apple finally offered to replace the iPhone 6 Plus camera that produce blurred images. Apple's new iSight camera replacement program includes a device iPhone 6 Plus purchased between September 2014 and January 2015. According to Apple, the flaw only affects a small number of iPhone.
The company created a replacement program website that lets users simply write down the serial number of their iPhone into the search field to find out if his cell phone qualifies for the replacement of the iSight rear camera for free. The defect is related to components inside the failed iSight camera, thereby potentially resulting in blurry photos.
It is important to note that even if a device's serial number qualified for replacement according to the list, it does not automatically mean that the iPhone rear camera is damaged.
But once users confirm that their camera is in need of repair, there are several things consumers need to be aware of. If the customer’s iPhone 6 Plus have cracked screen, this program requires consumers to fix it first, because the damage will affect the replacement of the camera, according to Apple.
In addition, the camera replacement program warns that there may be "costs associated with the repair”, depending to the condition of the handset. And, if users do not obsessively check for Apple updates, the good news is that this program will remain available for up to three years after the device was purchased.
But remember, unlike some other iPhone replacement programs, this program will only replace the rear iSight camera, not the entire device.
Some users have reported blurred images after using the camera behind the iPhone 6 Plus since October. In the Apple user forums and even on YouTube some iPhone owners 6 Plus exhibit blurry images and wavy video camera images.
