TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Franky Ibarani, Chairman of the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), confirmed that investments continue to flow into the country despite the weakening economy.

Franky delivered his statement during his visit to eight investment projects in Banten and Central Java on June 9 to June 12, 2015. The eight investments project serve as a sample to determine the progress of another 100 investment projects, and to ensure that the projects had generated positive impacts.

"From this field visit, investment is still [growing] amidst the economic slowdown. We make sure that the investments that have [been made in Indonesia] will keep going forward," said Franky on Monday, June 15, 2015.

Franky said that BKPM is ready to help accelerate the completion of investment projects that are currently ongoing, and to provide solutions to problems faced by investors in carrying out their investment in Indonesia.

Franky also hoped that investment activities will be able to accelerate developments in several regions and help to promote economic development.
