TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Prominent figures from the world of art, design, and cultural heritage will gather in Jakarta on June 9 to June 11, 2015, for the annual New Cities Summit event. The event will be held to discuss the role of culture to transform the future of a city.
The event will be led by the Global Cultural Districts Network (GCDN), a global-scale art and culture federation established by the New Cities Foundation, Dallas Arts Districts, and AEA Consulting, which is one of the world's leading arts, culture, and entertainment consulting firm.
The event will be focused on discussing the role of well-designed public spaces and the effect of cultural tourism on cities. Some of the panelists that are planned to attend the event include German prominent architect Ole Scheeren, and Alan Chong, Director of the Asian Civilization Museum in Singapore.
