TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Sports and Youth Ministry will summon 16 football clubs of the Indonesian Super League (ISL) on Monday, April 26 concerning the league delay. The league was delayed after the ministry freezes the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI).
According to the copy of the letter of summon received by Tempo, the meeting will be held at Sport Ministry building on 16:00 local time.
The issuance of the Sport Ministry’s decision to freeze PSSI coincided with PSSI’s Extraordinary Congress on April 18. The football-ruling organization was frozen for not obeying the government’s instruction.
PSSI’s Executive Committee Meeting after the congress has decided that the competition will be continued on Saturday. The decision is not recognized by the Sport Ministry who then asked police not to facilitate the competition and other PSSI’s activities.
