New Chief of National Police Visits AAC Venue

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The newly appointed Chief of National Police, General Badrodin Haiti, paid a visit to the Asian African Conference (AAC) venue at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on Monday, April 20, 2015. Badrodin claimed that so far, the AAC has been going on without any significant security threats.
"[The AAC] is doing good and according to plan. We have no significant security or traffic issues," said Badrodin at the JCC.
Badrodin said that there will be more security personnel deployed on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, given the increasing number of participating heads of state. Badrodin said that the police will increase the number of personnel based on the existing standard operational procedure.
Moreover, Badrodin added that with the arrival of heads of states on Tuesday, road users should expect traffic redirection and plan their travel carefully to avoid traffic jams. Badrodin also informed that until today, there has been no potential disturbance that will disturb the AAC.
