TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The North Jakarta State Administrative Court has issued an interim decision concerning Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly's letter that confirms the legality of Agung Laksono's leadership over the Functional Group Party (Golkar).
With the decision, the court has temporarily suspended the implementation of Yasonna's letter and handed over the party's administration to officials appointed in the Golkar National Conference in Riau. The court also ordered Minister Yasonna not to issue any letter regarding the party's internal dispute.
"With the decision, Agung Laksono's Golkar cannot take any administrative and political action," said Aburizal "Ical" Bakrie's Golkar lawyer Yusril Ihza Mahendra in his Twitter account.
Yusril also asserted that Ical's Gokar can cancel all administrative decision made by Agung's side.
