ISL Organizer Asked to Remain Consistent with Match Fixtures

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Two Indonesia Super League (ISL) contenders, Sriwijaya FC and Semen Padang, have requested the Super League operator and parties of interest to be consistent on dealing with match fixtures. The two clubs claimed that delaying the fixtures will only worsen the situation for both the clubs and the players.
Secretary of PT Sriwijaya Optimis Mandiri, Faisal Mursyid, said that his side will wage a protest if the scheduled premiere on April 4 is to be delayed. "We and other clubs will surely be very disappointed," said Faisal on Monday, March 16.
Speaking at the same tone, assistant to manager at Semen Padang, Delfi Ardi, said that his players’ physical and psychological shape will deprive if another delay kicks in. "Do not delay the competition because we are looking forward to it," said Delfi. "Whatever the issue is, do not let the completion delayed.”
