TEMPO.CO, London - Jordan Henderson played impressively when Liverpool defeated Burnley at the Anfield stadium on Wednesday, March 4, 2015.
Henderson scored a sensational goal from 20 meters away and booked an assist to Daniel Sturridge to double the lead.
Liverpool helmsman Brendan Rodgers praised the player, saying the midfielder had displayed some fine performance.
During full time appearance against Burnley, Hendo booked four shots on goal, one shorter than striker Daniel Sturridge.
Rodgers said he planned to name Henderson the next Liverpol skipper, replacing Steven Gerrard who will move to LA Galaxy in the season.
The decision, however, has been foreseen as Hendo has been Gerard’s deputy since September 2014.
Hendo has even put on the skipper ban for six matches, in which Gerard was out due to hamstring injury. In those six matches, the Reds won five and lost only one.
