TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Gold Coast Police, Australia, have searched a house belonging to the mother of pop star Rikki Lee Coulter, in an effort to search for trails of an Indonesian woman, Novy Chardon, who has been missing since 2013 and is presumed dead.
Novy, a 34-year-old mother of two children, went missing from her house in Mount Nathan, Queensland, on February 2013 when her husband was traveling abroad. The husband, John Chardon, is an Australian millionaire who was suspected to be involved in the missing case of Novy. John is currently in prison for raping a teenage girl.
The police search for Novy's remains in an unoccupied 3.6 hectare property of Loreto Patricia Sheerin.
The case is considered to be quite complicated and authorities had conducted a search twice for Novy, who is Chardon's fifth wife, but still cannot find any clue to her condition.
In March 2014, police discovered a white vehicle belonging to Novy that was buried underground, and arouse suspiciousness that the missing woman might have been buried underneath it.
