TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The Jakarta administration is planning to build an elevated lane for Transjakarta corridor 13, which is slated to kick off in April 2015. The corridor, which connects Ciledug and Blok M, will be completed with 12 shelters.
Jakarta Public Works Agency chief Agus Priyono said the auction for the construction had been concluded. “The auction consists of eight packages,” he said in his office on Thursday, December 18, 2014.
He explained the packages would be carried out be multiple contractors: PT Adhi Karya for Tendean package, PT Yasa Patria for Santa package, PT Jaya Konstruksi Manggala Pratama for Trunojoyo package, PT Hutama Karya for Taman Puring package, PT Pembangunan Perumahan for Kebayoran Lama package, PT Istaka Karya-PT Agrabudi Karyamarga for Kostrad package and PT Waskita Karya for Adam Malik package.
Agus said the pre-construction stage had begun on December 15, but the tender winners could not yet commence the construction as they still had to work on the construction designs.
He estimated it would take around three months for the contractors to complete the pre-construction process, and that the groundbreaking ceremony would take place around April next year.
Agus explained the construction cost around Rp2.5 trillion: Rp200 billion spent on planning consultants, initial designs and management consultants, while the remaining was earmarked for physical construction. “It is targeted [that the elevated lane] will begin operations in 2016.
