TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Head of Information and Legal Center at the Attorney General Office (AGO), Tony Spontana, said that the office has yet to settle a due date for capital punishment. He said that the due date will be delivered after final report submission this weekend.
"We have not got the date yet. The latest meeting and report have not discussed the date as well," said Tony. "It is important that we have a discussion. Especially that it is leads to capital punishment."
AGO plans to execute five death sentenced convicts this year. Two of whom were charged of murder and the remaining three were narcotic convicts. He added that the discussion is prolonged due to juridical and sociological assessment upon the convicts, such as their age and felony.
