TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has forecasted more light and heavy showers for some parts of the Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) regions for Friday, November 28, 2014.
Overcast conditions have been predicted for Jabodetabek and the Thousand Islands regency beginning in the morning—except for West Jakarta, which would see sunny skies with some cloud cover, says BMKG.
In the afternoon, the overcast conditions are expected to turn into light showers above South, East, West Jakarta and Tangerang. BMKG predicts moderate showers for Depok and Bekasi, and heavy showers for Bogor.
The weather above Thousand Islands regency, as well as Central and North Jakarta should remain unchanged for the remainder of the afternoon, as no precipitation have been predicted—although cloudy, overcast skies should be expected.
In the evening, lights showers will occur in patches across South Jakarta, Depok, and Bekasi, while the heavy shower should ease into moderate shower in Bogor by nightfall. Clear skies with some cloud cover are predicted for the Thousand Islands regency, Tangerang, as well as for all administrative cities in Jakarta, except South Jakarta.
BMKG predicts that the temperature shall remain between 23-33 degrees Celsius, with humidity levels fluctuating between 63-92 percent.
