TEMPO.CO, Jayapura - Persipura Jayapura are set to take on Kuwaiti club Al-Qadsia in the second leg of semifinal of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup.
Playing on home soil Mandala Stadium this midweek in Jayapura, Persipura will likely play without its two key players, Boaz Salossa and Bio Pauline.
"Tonight we will decide whether to go with or without them," said Persipura Jayapura boss Jacksen F. Tiago. Jacksen expects the two players will be available for the match, saying that he will instruct all players to close down Al-Qadsia’s key player Subotic.
Jacksen has also prepared the players to take penalty kicks in case of an aggregate draw. "We have set the kickers list," he said. "Our target is to win."
Persipura have no other option but to win with three goals aggregate as Al Qadsia triumphed in the first leg with 4-2 in Kuwait.
