TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Borussia Dortmund midfielder Sebastian Kehl expected that Shinji Kagawa can at least score a goal against Arsenal in Champions League group match in Signal Iduna Park tonight.
The Guardian cited that Kehl believes in Shinji to be able to cover the loss of players, as a number of Dortmund’s players are down to injury. Dortmund will be playing the match minus Marco Reus, Nuri Sahin, Jakub Blaszczykowski, and Ilkay Guendogan, as well as their captain Mats Hummels.
Kagawa, a new recruit for Dortmund this summer, had been playing for the club, prior to his stint in United. Kagawa moved to United in summer 2012, yet having two relatively failed seasons in Premier League.
Returning to Dortmund, Kagawa made a pretty debut by scoring a goal against SC Freiburg. Therefore, hopes are high that Kagawa can help Dortmund prevail against Arsenal, as well as against Anderlecht and Galatasaray, in Champions League.
