TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The West Jakarta Police’s anti-narcotics unit chief, Adj. Sr. Comr. Gembong Yudha, said his personnel had nabbed one Ujang Supriyatna, 32, who worked as a well-digger.
“We found 24 kilograms of marijuana at his rent house,” Yudha said on Monday, September 15, 2014.
Yudha said Ujang’s rent house was located on Jl. Garuda Tengah, Balok IV Alley, Duri Utara sub-district, West Jakarta.
“There were reports from locals who saw that many outsiders came to his house. They were suspicious that this was related to drug-dealing, so they reported it to the Tambora Police Station,” Yudha said.
Yudha added Ujang was still detained at the police station for further investigation. “We are still questioning him as to where he got the marijuana and where he sold it,” he said.
