TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Rumor has it that Manchester United are set to sell Spanish International midfielder Juan Mata in winter transfer window. Juventus come in as the first club to respond to the transfer rumor.
Footbal Espana reported that La Vecchia Signora are set to sign Mata to add more attacking power in their squad, particularly that they are competing in Champions League. United, on the other hand, have laid eyes upon other players that suit the need of new manager Louis van Gaal.
Mata, previously playing for Chelsea, was United’s record-breaking transfer last winter, with 39 million pounds worth of transfer. Most likely, United are going to ask the same price to Juventus for Mata, give or take, despite the fact that the Italian club are yet to make their bid.
