TEMPO.CO, Madrid - Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has warned Cristiano Ronaldo not to question Real Madrid’s summer transfer policy.
"I have a very definite opinion, but I am not always allowed to say what I think," said Ramos. "Otherwise, tomorrow I’d be on the front pages of all the papers and I don’t want that."
Ronaldo previously criticized the transfer of Xabi Alonso and Angel di Maria. He said those two players were important and should have been kept.
However, Ramos said every player must obey the rules of their club. "We may all have our own opinion and that’s fine; I’m not going to start judging Cristiano’s words or any player’s," he said.
"We belong to a club and we must abide by the rules of that club. My opinion I keep to myself, now is not the time to reach conclusions."
