TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - As many as 33 Provincial General Election Commissions (KPUD) had completed the recapitulation of vote counting results on Sunday, July 20, 2014. Based on the recapitulation at the provincial level and overseas, Joko “Jokowi” Widodo-Jusuf “JK” Kalla pair is leading with 53.16 percent of votes, leaving Prabowo Subianto-Hatta Rajasa with 46.48 percent.
Based on the data from the recapitulation, Jokowi-JK gained 71,014,846 votes and dominated in 23 provinces and overseas. Meanwhile, Prabowo-Hatta bagged 62,576,744 votes and won the presidential election in ten cities.
In Sumatra, Jokowi won the presidential election in North Sumatra, Jambi, Bengkulu, Riau, Bangka Belitung and Lampung. Jokowi also won in Central Java, Yogyakarta, East Java and Jakarta.
In Kalimantan, Jokowi-JK won the election in all provinces except in South Kalimantan. In Sulawesi, Jokowi-JK bagged victories in all regions except in Gorontalo. The pair also won in Maluku, Bali, East Nusa Tenggara, Papua and West Papua.
Meanwhile, Prabowo-Hatta dominated in Gorontalo, West Nusa Tenggara, and West Sumatra with above 60 percent of votes. The largest support for the pair was given by voters in West Java.
