TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Juventus will begin their Asian and Australian pre-season tour in Indonesia on August 6, 2014.
“We are very excited to start our Asian tour in such an important country as Indonesia, where the passion for football and Juventus is extraordinary,” said Nicola Verdun, the club’s head of global partnerships.
Juventus will face a selection of Indonesia’s best players at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium at 20.00 local time. Indonesia is known to have a large fanbase of Juventus.
“The Gelora Bung Karno Stadium is a super venue and we are ready to put on the best show possible for all attending,” said Verdun.
After visiting Indonesia, Juventus will continue their tour to Australia to face A-League All Star in Sydney on August 10 and Singapore on August 16 to play against a team that consists of players from Malaysian Super League outfit Lions and S-League internationals.
