TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Najwyzsza Izba Kontroli (NIK), a Polish State Supervisory Agency, handed results of Peer Review on Indonesian Supreme Audit Agency (BPK). The review was the third audit conducted over BPK’s performance. The first examination was in 2004 by the Office Auditor General New Zealand (OAG NZ), followed by an audit on 2009 by Algemene Rekenkamer (ARK) Netherland.
"Sixty percent of the monitoring process done by the Corrruption Eradication Commission was based on BPK's proposals, which were based on report of inspections," said Krzysztof Kwiatkowsko, President of Poland NIK at BPK office on Wednesday, April 16, 2014. He also applauded BPK's financial monitoring efforts that are being followed up by the attorney office.
Krzysztof concluded that BPK's human resources are very good, young, energized and displayed good performance. Especially because BPK has a strong legal basis that determines high quality examination results.
Poland NIK also complemented BPK's examination process that employs a very thorough procedure.
