TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - South Jakarta Police has declared, Novi Amilia, an adult magazine model, as a victim instead of a suspect. "She only needs rehabilitation," said Police Commissioner Aswin, South Jakarta Police spokesman.
The police considered Novi as a victim although preliminary tests conducted by the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) showed that Novi is a drug user.
Police Commissioner Kus Subiantoro, the Head of Narcotics at the South Jakarta Police, confirmed that Novi Amilia is a victim, therefore BNN should put her on rehab.
After putting Novi into custody, the police is currently investigating the last person met by Novi before she lost consciousness and performed inappropriate actions in public.
