TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta governor Joko Widodo has instructed his mayors to establish a regional children forum. The forum is expected to become a mean of creating a child-friendly city.

"The forum will accommodate all child-related activities," said Joko during the launch of 'Jakarta Child-Friendly City' program in Cengkareng, West Jakarta on Monday, June 24.

Joko added that the forum will accommodate children to share their stories and experience with their peers. "It's for sharing feelings, if you want to call it that way. If the forum is successful in the regional level, it will be implemented in the district level," said the governor.
