IMF-WB Delegates Mostly Enjoy Cultural Tour Packages

TEMPO.CO, Mangupura - The cultural tour is the most favored tour package for the 2018 IMF-World Bank annual meeting delegates.

According to the temporary recap done by Association of Indonesian Tourist Travel Companies or Asita in Bali, there are currently 100 tour packages booked through the hospitality desks in 21 hotels that accommodate the Annual Meeting delegates.

Chairman of Asita Bali, Ketut Ardana, said that the tour packages that are in demand are the tour to Ubud to see the craftsmen, painting artists, etc.

“Balinese culture remains the most popular magnet, their art is popular among the MICE. Bali is known for its culture, besides Kuta,” he explained, Thursday, October 11.

According to Ardana, the currently popular tour package is a short-term tour. He viewed that it was due to the limited time that they have since the IMF-WB meeting is still ongoing in Nusa Dua. However, Ardana expected that after the event is finished, the demand of several tour packages will increase.
