TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Member of the Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno campaign team, Sudirman Said, laughed when responding to the recent poll result issued by Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) Denny JA. The pollster suggested that Prabowo`s electability had declined.
“I can only laugh whenever I read LSI’s poll results. That's all. Just write it like that,” chuckled Sudirman Said at the Prabowo-Sandiaga campaign headquarter in South Jakarta last night, Oct. 23.
Sudirman revealed that he was once surveyed by the pollster in May but then the same result came out in another month. “My electability in November was 10.6 percent while May also saw 10.6 percent,” he said.
LSI Denny JA recently conducted a poll on the implications of Ratna Sarumpaet’s hoax toward Prabowo-Sandiaga’s electability. The pollster found that 17.9 percent of its respondents chose to no longer support the presidential and vice presidential hopefuls.
Sudirman Said's statement was echoed by VP hopeful Sandiaga Uno who said that LSI Denny JA’s poll was a stark contrast to their internal poll during the Jakarta Gubernatorial Election and other regional elections.
