TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - An LSI Denny JA report suggests that the electability of presidential and vice presidential hopeful Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno took a huge blow by the public deceit case spread by Ratna Sarumpaet.
The Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) Denny JA reported that out of 57.2 percent respondents that were exposed to news about Ratna Sarumpaet’s hoax case, around 17.9 percent no longer supports Prabowo-Sandiaga.

“The majority of respondents disliked the Ratna Sarumpaet’s hoax case,” said Denny JA in a press release Tempo received today, Oct. 23.
The poll conducted by LSI Denny JA was held from October 10-19, 2018, that involved 1,200 respondents through a multistage random sampling that has 2.8 percent margin of error.
Ratna Sarumpaet made news headlines after claiming to be a victim of a physical assault following a viral photo of her bruised face on social media platforms. Her deceit was uncovered and she was pushed to make a public confession since Ratna was still a member of Prabowo Subianto’s campaign team at the time.
