Transjakarta Opens Special Route to Jakarta Fair

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - City-owned transportation operator Transjakarta added 4 new special routes to Jakarta Fair 2018. President Director of Transjakarta Budi Kaliwono said the routes are expected to bring passenger directly to Jakarta Fair in Jakarta International Expo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.
“They could depart from Monas, PGC, Kampung Melayu and Pulogadung, and arrive straightly to Jakarta Fair,“ said Budi in the written statement Tuesday, May 22.

Jakarta Fair Exhibition 2018 will be held from May 23 to June 1. Budi stated the special route has been operated from today, May 22. On the weekdays, the bus operated from 3 p.m until 11 p.m, and on the weekends, it started from 9 a.m until 11 p.m.
Budi conveyed that Transjakarta has 8 busses that will operate on this route. The number of busses will be added in accordance with the passengers. The fare is still the same, passengers only have to pay Rp3,500 to board the bus.
The special route service is targeted by the government as a part of 6 million Transjakarta users with a transaction value of Rp7 trillion.
