TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A Bangladeshi man provoked a commotion during flight by suddenly naked and attacked the crew member. According to Straits Times report on March 5, 2018, the incident occurred at Malindo Air airline departing from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) on Saturday, March 3, 2018, to Dhaka, Bangladesh.


The 20-year-old student from a private university in Cyberjaya was arrested after OD162 Malindo Airplane landed at Shahjalal International Airport.


The man showed strange acts right after the plane took off from Kuala Lumpur International Airport. By the time the plane reached a height of 10,000 feet, he began naked and watched pornographic films in his seat, ignoring other passengers around him.


He also carried on hugging many flight attendants. The captain tried to catch him, yet the man turned aggressively and attacked the crew members. With the help of passengers, the crew managed to catch the man and move the passengers who were sitting behind him.


An aviation spokesman confirmed the incident. The crew on board claimed to have followed standard operating procedures in detaining passengers who caused disruptions in the aircraft.


The man was later arrested by Bangladeshi authorities as the plane landed at Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.
