Lion Air: Four of Batik Air Flights to be Delayed Tomorrow

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - There are at least four Batik Air flights, departing from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, which will be delayed on Friday, January 19.
"To Malang, Kualanamu, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya," Corporate Communication of Lion Air Group Ramaditya Handoko told Tempo on Thursday, January 18.
There are also three arrival flight schedules that will be delayed, namely flights from Yogyakarta and Surabaya.
Ramaditya explained the reason for the delays. He said that it is because the airport will be temporarily closed for commercial flights. Based on the notice to airmen, the airport will be used by Vice President Jusuf Kalla for a flight to Surabaya at 06:45-07:30.
At 07:45-09:00, he said, the airport will be used for the handover of the new Air Force Chief of Staffs (KSAU). "You can say that the airport cannot be used," he said.
Lion Air Group has anticipated upon the events. Ramaditya said that currently, the Batik Air has started to announce, following this issue, to the prospective passengers who will use their service.
Ramaditya said there are several commercial airlines whose departure is from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, namely Citilink and Wings Air.
