TEMPO.CO, Cirebon - West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan officially opened the 11th Archipelago Keraton Festival (FKN) held in Cirebon. All keratons (royal palace) participated in the festival.

"I hereby declare that the 11th Archipelago Keraton Festival is open," Aher said in Cirebon on Saturday, September 16.

Aher said that this festival is expected to enforce Indonesia’s unity with its diverse ethnics, culture, language and others. "Indonesia consist of more than 17,000 islands is rich in diversity and this is a blessing," the governor said.

"The summit of kings all across Indonesia is intended to better unite diverse Indonesia," he added.

The 11th Archipelago Keraton Festival is held in Cirebon from 15 to 19 September 2017 with a number of agendas organized by the committee.
